Illustration and storytelling have always gone hand-in-hand for me. I was always excited when the books I read as a child were accompanied by illustrations of the world map, locations in the story, or the characters whom I followed on the pages. When any book I read did not have such things, I always took it upon myself to remedy that. Art and illustration has always fascinated me far more than anything live action, and because of this I grew up on Disney, DreamWorks and Don Bluth instead of Star Wars, Legally Blond, or Dirty Dancing.

     I believe that illustration and animation are the most effective forms of storytelling out there and as I grew older I became fascinated with creating my own characters and worlds to tell stories that would resonate with others even half as much as the stories of my childhood resonated with me. I get bits and pieces of that now as I meet more and more artists to share stories and art with and I have never been more excited to share my stories and the art that tells them with the world.
